The following advice will help you get the most from your visit:

1. Write down your concerns so you don’t forget to mention them. Bring a list of any medication you take. The more information you give us, the more focussed treatment can be. Diagnosis of your problem is often like detective work; we need to know what you have been doing with your body.

2. Wear appropriate clothing. If stripping to your underwear worries you, bring exercise clothes. Ladies are supplied with treatment gowns.

3. If there’s anything you don’t understand, please speak up. Don’t be embarrassed to ask. It’s your health, and we take your health seriously.

4. Take your chiropractor’s advice. He is helping your body to heal itself. If he recommends exercises, try to do them as instructed. However if exercises cause pain, don’t do them and tell your chiropractor.

5. The way you live can contribute to your pain. Your chiropractor will give you strategies to help minimise the adverse effects of modern life. We try to find ways for you to do everything you want to without risking injury.

6. Do you have Medical Insurance? Many Insurance Companies cover chiropractic treatment, though some companies require a GP referral.  Please check your policy or contact your insurers.

For more information or to book an appointment call or email us and we will ring you back.

It’s of particular interest to me as a chiropractor to see how people injure themselves. I see players with double shoulder straps on their bags but only using one strap.

What People Say About Us

"Following an accident 4 years ago, I suffered a fractured spine and subsequently a lot of pain and a gradual deterioration in my posture. Sandie was recommended to me and, three years ago, following initial treatments, my pain became manageable. I see Sandie once a month for corrective treatment and I honestly believe that, if it wasn’t for her, I don’t think I would be walking properly now. I would highly recommend her and have done so to my Mum." - Ms Julia Fenton, Salisbury
